5) Memory, Improving, Concentration & Reading System

Memory & Learning

A compilation of commonly used models and illustrations known as the "learning pyramid" relate the many many phases of retention brought on by various types of learning.

Memory Process

Sensory Memory (SM)

-Memory related to temporary information storage carried by sensors (5 senses).
-If you pay attention to the information will be processed into short term memory if you do not pay attention to the information will be lost immediately.

Short-Term Memory (STM)

-STM is process that allows information to be received and stored within a short period of time between 30 seconds up to 24 hours of memory from SM
-This happens because limitation of storing information is limited, some information in the short-term memory system will enter the long-term memory system if it is focus and repeated.

Long-Term Memory (LTM)

-LTM means the memory of an information over a long period of time.
-In fact, every information stored in this system is permanent until the end of a person's life, but it depends on the person's ability to 'recall' the information from the memory.

- Provides an accurate record of information.
- Provides an opportunity to interpret, condense, organize information.
- Provides an opportunity for repetition of the materials.

Steps In The Listening And Note-Taking Process

Effective Note-Taking System

As students, we must understand and learn about the subject. We should also take note of it so that we can refer to it later and use it more easily in our studies. Because the Cornell method is so effective for students, we need to put it to use in the classroom before the lesson even begins. It is more detailed, and each part's tone can be identified.

For example ;

APPENDIX 12 : NOTE-TAKING STRATEGIES

As you see in appendix 12, my score is 5 which means I need some help in note taking because I don't really taking notes, I will only jotted down information that not contain in slides or not in the notes my lecturers give.

7) Academy, Integrity, & Performance
